A Couple Shot Dead in Islamabad Sector I-11 due to personal animosity, and a video of their 2-year-old child standing by their bodies went viral on social media, sparking widespread indignation.
Rehana Sardar and Zafar Iqbal, a couple, and their 2-year-old child were shot by a group of gunmen who were motivated by personal animosity. The outcome was that the couple passed away right there and then, leaving their child unhurt.
Soon after the tragedy, the Sabzi Mandi Police, who have authority over the region, arrived on the site and started their investigation into the terrible occurrence. The couple was assassinated by their relatives, according to the authorities, during a domestic quarrel.
According to the police, raids are being carried out to arrest the suspects who have been identified. The toddler has since been taken away by some other victims’ relatives.
